How do I make my bedroom look more modern?

Well, I’ve just moved into my new bedroom. I love it, but here’s my problem. It’s too, like, rustic! Everything in there has been picked out for me, and my parents are like, a million bazillion years old, so everything in there looks old. The walls are light green, and that’s pretty much the only thing I like about it. How do I make it look cooler and more modern?

Well, if you have a favorite pop star, get loads of posters of them and stick them on your wall.
Get a pin board and stick all your concert tickets/sports tickets/postcards/pictures on it.
On one of the walls, make a collage of photos of you and all your friends, make sure its on the wall that you least like!
